Flight Instruction

Instrument Rating Course

This program will allow you to quickly become an IFR pilot who will be able to get great utility and enjoyment out of the Cirrus. You will graduate extremely experienced with the avionics, autopilot, and real-world instrument procedures.

In the past 8 years, the Flight Academy has worked with over 250 clients on their instrument ratings. We teach our clients not only how to pass a check ride with any examiner in the country, but also to be safe pilots who are proficient using all that the Cirrus has to offer. With over 25,000 combined hours of instruction given and an eight year history with the Cirrus, we are the most experienced Cirrus training company in the world.

The instrument rating is a three stage course: :

Stage 1: Basic attitude instrument flying (BAI)
Stage 2: Instrument flight rules (IFR) cross country
 Stage 3: IFR approach procedures
