Our Mission: To produce safer, more proficient pilots through specialized training of the highest quality.

The Flight Academy was formed in 2002 by Luke Lysen and John Fiscus to meet the need for skilled, specialized flight training in Cirrus aircraft nationwide. Our style of training uses full immersion which allows our clients to learn new skills and then cement them into place. Our versatility allows us to come to our clients anywhere in the world.

Initially based out of Seattle, WA The Flight Academy added a second location in Las Vegas, NV in 2005. We also have individual instructors placed around the United States. You can train at any of our locations or we can work with you at your home base.

We are a Cirrus Standardized Training Center and are active, supporting members of the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA). Our instructors are all high-time Cirrus pilots, personally vetted and trained by Luke and John, and they represent some of the most skilled Cirrus experts in the world.

A cancellation fee of 25% of the estimated invoice will be charged if instruction is canceled after it has been scheduled and confirmed by the customer. If canceled within one week of the scheduled start date, 100% of the estimated invoice will be charged.

Late payments will be assessed a 5% fee plus 5% per additional week late, to a maximum of 30%.
